Love is like a flower .... it needs constant feeding. ...
The tender flower would wither and die without food and water.
And so love, also, cannot be expected to last forever unless it is continually
fed with portions of love, the manifestation of esteem and admiration, the expressions of gratitude, and the consideration of unselfishness.
Spencer W. Kimball, “Oneness in Marriage,” Liahona, Oct 2002.

Stand tall

Sometimes we stand alone,

A few Snapdragons in mom's raspberries.

but let's always stand for our values.

How about a bowl of granola, pecans, chocolate chips, and RASPBERRIES
for
breakfast?

(Try not to forget the granola.)

"I challenge you to stand for that which is right and true and good."

Where is Spring?

Spring is on its way.

Spring has arrived and Mom's flowers are in bloom!

Zackary enjoyed his first Easter Egg Hunt at Grandma's, finding many eggs with special 'treasures' hidden in her flower beds.

On February 4, 2008, President Monson said he loves the color yellow. He loves it because it gives other colors their light.

Do you remember Alma’s counsel to his son Helaman: “Behold I say unto you, that by small and simple things are great things brought to pass." Does not Alma's counsel apply to you and me today?

Not to be outdone by our grand daughters, Zackary has a new hairdo styled to perfection by his grandma and grandpa.

"That is a great and marvelous gift, which we have to give to the world—a true understanding of God. We are His children. It does not matter our nationality. It does not matter where we were born. It does not matter whether our hair is light or dark. It does not matter the shape of our eyes. Each of us is a child of God." - President Hinckley, Valdivostok, Russia, July 31, 2005.
